All since media outlets were capitalised and ownership was either controlled by the leaders directly / indirectly or forced under threats to deliver the conceived lies and propaganda of the state. The following article was bound to be written.

Needless to say, international media; typically state run outlets like Press TV (Iran), RT (Russia), ABC (US) or Indian media outlets would post news impartially until their respective state themes are not fiddled by an event. Thence, partially enters the fray to an extent that 100% of news material is lies which get propagated via their media / channels / outlets.

BBC News released this clip as part of the documentary of torture and crimes committed against Kashmiri Muslims.

In India, all major outlets apart from NDTV (which is under government pressure to post like other outlets) were tuned in to the government controlled themes of misinformation to the broader public with regards to the abrogation of the now famous article 370 the the Indian constitution which either way was illegal as per Indian constitution (mentioned in this article).

The media played a critical role to undermine the voices of the right people and made masses believe that Kashmir is in good condition.

The people of Kashmir, when encounter media are furious as they know the news and ground reality is a far-cry apart.

This shows how much effect of it is being made in the mainstream media. Rampant propaganda amid blatant lies is a part of the de-facto strategy where repeated utterance of lies is believed by masses.
